Juniata handed the DeSales Bulldogs their second loss of the season on Friday, Dec. 30 at the Juniata College Holiday Tournament. The Eagles played hard until the last minute to earn the 71-68 victory and move to 7-3 on the season.
HUNTINGDON, PA- Kelsey Livoti (Altoona/Bishop Guilfoyle) scored the game-winning basket with three seconds left as the women’s basketball team came from behind to knock off Catholic 77-76 on Wednesday night at Memorial Gymnasium. It’s the first Eagles win over the Cardinals since 2012. Juniata improves its record to 6-11 and 4-4 in the Landmark. Catholic’s record now stands at 12-5 and 6-2 in the Landmark.
HUNTINGDON, PA- The Juniata women’s basketball team broke a halftime tie with a big run in the second half to defeat visiting Merchant Marine Academy 68-53 on Saturday afternoon at Memorial Gymnasium. The win improves the Eagles record to 5-11 overall and 3-4 in the Landmark Conference. The Mariners drop to 2-12 and 0-10 in the conference.
MADISON, NJ- A career performance by sophomore Katy Leamer (Bellwood/Bellwood-Antis) helped propel the Juniata women’s basketball team to a 67-62 win over Drew on Saturday afternoon at Baldwin Gymnasium. BETHLEHEM, Pa. – Juniata College women's basketball handed Moravian College its first home loss of the season in a 56-53 upset on the Greyhounds Pink Game in Johnston Hall. Over 1,000 people were in attendance to see only the second time in over 10 years that Juniata (10-11, 3-7 Landmark) defeated Moravian in Bethlehem. The Greyhounds dropped to 17-4 with the loss, and are 8-2 against Landmark Conference opponents.

The forward was named to the College Sports Information Directors of American (CoSIDA) Capital One Academic All-District team Thursday afternoon. McDonald is the first Eagle to earn all-district honors and one of two Landmark Conference student-athletes represented. She is currently studying business management with a secondary emphasis in communication.
