Hiram selected Alex Dellas as its new head women's basketball coach. Dellas, who graduated from the College in 2010, replaces Emily Hays who left for the head coaching position at Dickinson.
After losing its head women's basketball coach to Johns Hopkins, Dickinson found her replacement at Hiram. Emily Hays will fill the Red Devils' vacancy after three seasons with the Terriers.

Jan. 25 – WOOSTER, Ohio – The Hiram College women’s basketball team matched a program high, sixth North Coast Athletic Conference victory, and guaranteed themselves a winning season, defeating The College of Wooster 74-50 on Wednesday evening.
Jan. 11 – HIRAM, Ohio – The 2016-17 version of the Hiram College women's basketball team will now be the standard with which future versions of the program will be measured. Still with nine games remaining in the regular season, the Terriers broke the single-season mark for wins by capturing their 13th in a 65-63 triumph over Ohio Wesleyan.
Dec. 13 – GROVE CITY, Pa. – The Hiram College women's basketball team captured their fourth-straight win, and their sixth in seven games, by dispatching Grove City College on Tuesday evening. The Terriers dominated the fourth quarter en route to a 76-62 victory.
Dec. 10 – MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Hiram College women’s basketball team used a +16 advantage in the rebound department to earn a 67-56 victory over Allegheny College on Saturday afternoon in Meadville.
