Feb. 23 – BETHANY, W. Va. – The Bethany College men’s basketball team locked down Thiel College, 69-60, as they advanced to the Presidents’ Athletic Conference semifinals on Tuesday evening. Bethany held their opponents to 31.8% shooting from the floor in the game.
Feb. 20 – BETHANY, W. Va. – Antonio Rudolph (New Castle, Pa./New Castle) and Javonte’ Trujillo (Aurora, Colo./Grandview) led four in double figures, as the Bethany men’s basketball earned an 88-69 win over Washington & Jefferson on Saturday.
Feb. 6 – BETHANY, W. Va. – The Bison men’s basketball team moved into sole possession of second place in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference standings, winning their seventh game in nine tries as they defeated Chatham University, 74-70, on Saturday afternoon. The win improved the Bison’s record to 10-4 in the PAC, as well as a season-best seven games over .500.
Feb. 3 – CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. - Behind a career-high 29 points from Andrew Williams (Oil City, Pa./Oil City) and a desperation three from Jerron Athey (Richmond, Va./Banner Christian), the Bethany men’s basketball team rallied to take down Thomas More, 95-89, in double overtime on Wednesday night. The Bison trailed by double-digits with just over three minutes remaining in regulation before making the late comeback.
Jan. 30 – GREENVILLE, Pa. – The Bethany College men’s basketball team dropped an 84-80 decision to Thiel College on Saturday afternoon. The loss drops the Green & White to 12-7 on the year, including 8-4 in conference play.
Jan. 24 – BETHANY, W. Va. – The Bethany College men’s basketball team used a solid shooting performance to outduel Presidents’ Athletic Conference leading Saint Vincent College, 81-76, on Sunday afternoon. The Bison shot just over 50% from the floor, including 9-of-17 from beyond the three-point arc to earn the win.
Jan. 20 – BETHANY, W. Va. – The Bethany College men’s basketball team erased a 12-point second half deficit, but could not hold on late, as the Bison dropped a 76-70 decision to Grove City College on Wednesday evening.
Jan. 13 – BETHANY, W. Va. – Behind a strong defensive effort and four players in double figures, the Bethany College men’s basketball team used a 41-point second-half to take down the Titans of Westminster College on Wednesday evening in Bethany. The triumph marked the 17th-straight victory over Westminster, dating back to the 2008-09 season.
Jan. 9 – BETHANY, W. Va. – Led by a strong offensive output from senior Alan Harper and sophomore Calique Jones, the Bethany College men’s basketball team used a strong second-half surge to upend Presidents’ Athletic Conference foe, Waynesburg University, 84-73 on Saturday.
Jan. 4 – GREENVILLE, Pa. – Coming off perhaps the best all-around statistical week of his career, Bethany College junior men’s basketball standout, Antonio Rudolph, has been named the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Player of the Week, announced the PAC on Monday afternoon.
Dec. 21 – GREENVILLE, Pa. – For his efforts in leading the Bethany College men’s basketball team to their third straight victory, Bison senior Alan Harper (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Central Catholic) has been named the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Player of the Week, announced the PAC on Monday afternoon.
Dec. 17 – STEUBENVILLE, Ohio – The Bethany College men’s basketball team (5-3) put together a complete team effort to capture their third-consecutive victory as the Bison defeated Franciscan University 88-75 on Thursday. Five different players scored in double figures, led by a career-high 25 points from senior Alan Harper (Cleveland, Ohio/Cleveland Central Catholic).
Dec. 12 – BETHANY, W. Va. – The Bethany College men’s basketball team cruised to an 86-60 win over Geneva in Presidents’ Athletic Conference play on Saturday night.
Dec. 5 – BETHANY, W. Va. – The Bethany College men’s basketball team (3-3, 1-1 PAC) locked down defensively to earn their first conference victory of the season as the Green & White defeated Thiel College 67-44 on Saturday afternoon.
Nov. 24 – BETHANY, W. Va. – The Bethany men’s basketball team used a solid defensive effort, as well as an all-around team performance, to defeat Muskingum University, 81-73, on Tuesday evening in the Hummel Field House.
Nov. 21 – PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Bethany College men’s basketball team (1-2) dropped an 82-74 decision to Carnegie Mellon University on Saturday afternoon in Pittsburgh.
Nov. 14 – BETHANY, W. Va. – The Bethany College men’s basketball team rolled to a 100-67 victory in their season opener against Penn State – DuBois. The Green & White used a solid, all-around effort to earn head coach Nick Hager his first-career victory.
Andrew Sachs, who is a former Salisbury State assistant and was most recently head coach at Bethany, has returned to take over the Sea Gulls men's basketball program.
Jan. 31 – BETHANY, W. Va. – Two clutch free-throws and a last second steal by senior Delonte’ Joyce (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis) helped the Bison men’s basketball team defeat Thiel College, 61-59, for the team’s sixth-straight victory on Saturday. The win pulled the Bison into a virtual tie with the Tomcats and Waynesburg for third in the PAC standings.
Jan. 28 – BETHANY, W. Va. – Behind a huge, 52-point first half, the Bethany College men’s basketball team posted their fifth-straight victory, defeating Geneva College, 85-68, on Wednesday evening. Delonte’ Joyce (Annapolis, Md./Annapolis) was up to his old tricks again, finishing the contest with a game-high 30 points
Jan. 24 – LATROBE, Pa. – Using lock-down defense and a strong team effort, the Bison men’s basketball team (10-8, 5-4 PAC) pushed their winning streak to a season-best four games, erasing a nine-point halftime deficit to defeat conference-leading Saint Vincent College, 56-53, in Latrobe on Saturday.
