Eagles Open Up The 2024-25 Campaign With Win At Home Over Lehman

Morristown, NJ- The Saint Elizabeth University Women's Basketball team kicked off the 2024-25 campaign with a win over Lehman College on Saturday, November 9th, winning by a final of 58-51.

With the win, the Eagles begin the year with a 1-0 record. Following the loss, Lehman will begin their campaign 0-1.

Leading the way for the Eagles was Yasminah White, picking up a double-double, tallying 13 points and 12 rebounds, while also picking up four assists on the night, White was also able to pick up three steals on the night and one block on the defensive side. Ashley Phillip also tallied 13 points on the night for the Eagles, picking up two rebounds, one assist, and two steals. Aliyah Folarin finished the game with nine points and eight boards on the night, while also picking up three steals on the defensive side. Ahjionae Cobb would tally eight points for the Eagles, two rebounds, and one steal. Mya Davis, would finish the night with seven points, four rebounds, and three assists on the night. Jasmine Pierce was able to pick up five points, to go along with three boards, as well as picking up both a steal and a block on the night. Paige Neal would round out the scoring for the Eagles as she would pick up three points with nine boards, a steal, and an assist.
