LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's basketball team blitzed past Alverno to advance to the quarterfinals of the NACC Tournament.

• Benedictine scored the first six points of the game and did not look back
• Claire Gibler opened a run of 23 consecutive points to close the first quarter as Benedictine led 29-3

• Benedictine scored 19 unanswered in the second quarter to open a 48-6 lead on a layup from Alex Fanning
• Benedictine led 55-14 at halftime and opened a 54 point lead at the end of the third quarter

• Fanning totaled 13 points to go with six assists and four rebounds and she closes in on 1,000 career points
