The Baruch College Bearcats lost 94-46 to the Bulldogs of Brooklyn College on Wednesday night in the ARC Arena.
The visiting Bulldogs started the contest with a 19-4 run en route to building a 50-26 halftime lead.
They finished shooting 43 percent (33-for-77) and recorded 21 steals to improve to 3-0 in the early season CUNYAC standings.
Milly Ye led the Bearcats this evening scoring 16 points (10 in the first half), while Melinda Spahiu made her season debut with a double-double of 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Mia Castillo (four blocks) and Elissa Leung finished with seven points each.
Chanel Jemmott led the visitors with 28 points and 13 rebounds.
The Bearcats were playing their first contest since December 11, due to the final exam/holiday break as well as later having three contests postponed.
Their two CUNYAC games against Medgar Evers, including the away contest scheduled for this Friday, have also been recently canceled.
The Bearcats will return to action on Monday with a 12:00 p.m. non-conference contest at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. Please note there will be no spectators allowed for this away game.
