BSC outpaces Hendrix in 128-84 win

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. –The Birmingham-Southern women's basketball team put up 42 points in the fourth quarter en route to its 128-84 win over Southern Athletic Association rival Hendrix College.
 
Josie Wannemuehler (Birmingham, Ala./John Carroll Catholic HS) led the Panthers with 20 points, making 3-of-4 from three-point range.  Anna Beth Giles (Gadsden, Ala./Glencoe HS) and Audra Putman (Athens, Ala./Lindsay Lane Christian Academy) earned 17 and 15 points, respectively.  And Alexia Hood (Birmingham, Ala./Alcorn State University) finished with 10 points on the day.  Cassady Quintana (Orlando, Fla./William R. Boone HS) grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds and had a team-high four assists.
 
BSC (3-9, 1-6 SAA) completes its series against the Warriors tomorrow.  Tipoff set for 1 p.m.
