MILWAUKEE, WI - The Benedictine University women's basketball won at Wisconsin Lutheran for the first time ever in conference play, remaining unbeaten in the NACC with a road victory.

• Allison Michalski scored seven of the first 10 points as Benedictine set the tone in the opening quarter
• Wisconsin Lutheran tied the game with 1:28 left in the opening quarter but Michalski beat the buzzer as Benedictine led 13-11 after one
• Trailing by three points late in the second, Britney Pitzer kicked off an 11-0 run with a three as Benedictine moved ahead 35-27 on a triple from Ashley Brown in the final minute of the half
• Claire Gibler opened the second half with a layup and Alex Fanning knocked home a pair of free throws to open a double-digit lead at 39-29
• The hosts cut the deficit down to just one point late in the quarter but Benedictine took a 49-46 lead into the final 10 minutes
• Wisconsin Lutheran tallied the first five points of the fourth quarter to take the lead before an 8-0 spurt enabled Benedictine to go ahead 57-51
• The hosts, who have won eight of the last 10 conference titles, battled back to tie the game at 58 with under four minutes left
• Michalski knocked down a three-pointer and Reggie Much added a layup to provide a five-point cushion 1:30 remaining and the team hit 5-of-6 free throws down the stretch to seal the win

• Fanning finished with 14 points and dominated on the glass, matching a career best with 17 boards
• Pitzer also reached double digits as the starting five finished with all but six of the points
• Benedictine shot 75 percent from the field in the second quarter (9-for-12) and finished the game at 39.3 percent, making eight three-pointers
