BEREA, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball team, under the guidance of veteran head coach Cheri Harrer, open its 2019-20 campaign on the road at the annual Chuck Ressler Invitational Tournament, hosted by Rochester (N.Y.) University on Friday, November 15 and Saturday, November 16. BW will take on Skidmore (N.Y.) College in the Louis A. Alexander Palestra at 1:00 p.m. in their season opener.
The Yellow Jackets will play host to a non-conference game against St. Vincent (Pa.) College in their home opener on Tuesday, November 19 at 6:30 p.m. in Ursprung Gymnasium.
BW will participate in one other tournament this season when it travels to Waverly, Iowa to compete in the Wartburg Holiday Classic hosted by Wartburg (Iowa) College on Sunday, December 29 and Monday, December 30 inside the Wartburg-Waverly Sports & Wellness Center.
Ohio Athletic Conference play will open on December 7 with a trip to New Concord, Ohio to take on Muskingum University. BW will then host Heidelberg University on Dec. 18 in its conference home opener. The Yellow Jackets' season matchups with crosstown rival John Carroll University will take place on January 22 in University Heights and February 12 in Ursprung Gymnasium.
The OAC Tournament is scheduled from February 24 to 29.
BW finished the 2018-19 season with a 20-8 overall record including a 13-5 mark in conference play. The Yellow Jackets' received an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament where its season eventually concluded in the second
