Women's Basketball Plays in First Road Game of Season

The Baruch College Bearcats lost their first road contest of the season, 68-24, to the Golden Eagles of St. Joseph's College of Patchogue.

Melinda Spahiu (six rebounds) led five scorers for the Bearcats with nine points, while Valsenia Michie had six points and four steals.   

The host Golden Eagles from the Skyline Conference shot 43 percent in the contest and were led in the scoring column by Alyssa Signor with 16 points.  

The Bearcats will next begin their CUNYAC portion of their schedule next Tuesday, December 4, with a 5:30 p.m. home contest against CCNY.
