Junior guard Jessa Rubera (Newton, MA) tallied 16 points and five assists RIC to lead the Anchorwomen (5-16, 2-9 LEC). Freshman Jordyn Gauvin (Fall River, MA) added 12 points, four boards and two assists in the setback. |

Sophomore forward Nakira Examond (New Bedford, MA) paced UMass Dartmouth (18-3, 8-2 LEC) with a double-double, scoring 15 points and grabbing 12 rebounds to go along with six assists. Junior forward Alicia Kutil (Franklin, MA) notched a game-high 17 points, grabbed seven rebounds and dished out three assists. Senior guard Rachel McCarron (Groton, MA) was also in double figures with 12 points. |

UMass Dartmouth had control of the game early, holding a steady, 11-7, advantage on a jumper by junior guard Leah Douty (Framingham, MA) with 6:06 left in the first quarter. RIC responded with an 8-1 run, capped by a three-pointer from Rubera, for the 15-12 lead with 2:33 left on the clock. The Anchorwomen held a 15-14 advantage after the first quarter of play. |

The visiting Corsairs opened the second quarter on a 6-0 run to take their largest lead of the first half, 20-5, after a jumper from McCarron with 7:53 on the clock. RIC trailed by just two points late in the second quarter as a layup by Rubera with 2:37 remaining made the score 28-26. That would be as close as the Anchorwomen would get as UMD closed out the half on a 5-0 run to take a 33-26 lead heading into the locker room at halftime. |

UMass Dartmouth extended the lead early in the second half and soared ahead by 20 points, 51-31, on a layup by McCarron with 3:24 left in the third quarter. The Corsairs built a 54-35 lead after three quarters of play. |

RIC shot 26.9 percent (14-of-52) from the field, 28.6 percent (6-of-21) from behind the three-point stripe and 65.0 percent (13-of-20) from the free throw line. UMass Dartmouth shot 46.6 percent (27-of-58) from the field, 37.5 percent (3-of-8) from the three-point line and 66.7 percent (12-of-18) from the free throw line. |
