Lauren Fischer, Kaitlin Langer and Lucia Renikoff each scored 13 points as No. 3-ranked St. Thomas (17-0 overall, 11-0 MIAC) topped the Macalester Scots (9-9, 3-8) 71-48 in Wednesday night MIAC women's basketball play at Schoenecker Arena.

St. Thomas shares the MIAC lead with fellow unbeaten Gustavus with seven games to go. The Gusties won 61-59 at Concordia-Moorhead.

The Tommies have won 27 consecutive regular-season games and 23 in a row against conference opposition. They have limited 10 of their 17 opponents under 56 points.

Senior point guard Paige Gernes had a game-high nine rebunds for UST.

St. Thomas plays Saturday at St. Benedict.
