Ithaca and Fisher battled to a 10-10 tie after the first quarter. The Cardinals scored the opening basket of the game on a 3-pointer nearly two minutes in, and then Ithaca rattled off eight consecutive points in just 29 seconds. The Bombers' 8-0 spurt was aided by four straight turnovers by Fisher.

Senior Erin Ferguson tallied six of her team-high 16 points in the frame as she shot 8-for-11 from the floor to go along with eight rebounds and two assists.

The Bombers took control of the contest in the second quarter as they outscore Fisher, 23-10, to take a 33-20 lead into halftime. Ithaca and Fisher traded leads three times in the opening minute of the quarter, but then the Bombers tripled up the Cardinals the rest of the way, 21-7.

Back-to-back layups from Ferguson started the rally, and then junior Julie Yacovoni and sophomore Meghan Mazzella combined to score the next nine of 11 points for Ithaca to put the Bombers up by a 25-16 margin with 4:45 to go. On Ithaca's ensuing possession after a Fisher turnover, sophomore Annie Giannone staked the Bombers to a double-digit margin, 27-16, which they would never relinquish for the remainder of the contest.

Three minutes into the third stanza, Ithaca established its first 20-point cushion at 44-23 on a layup from Yacovoni. Four minutes later, Mazzella converted a layup and-one to give IC its largest lead of the game at 51-27.

Fisher got back to within a 14-point spread, 55-41, over the first two minutes of the fourth quarter, but the Bombers closed out the game on a 13-4 run.

Yacovoni concluded the evening with 14 points on 7-of-9 shooting with five steals, four rebounds and three assists. Mazzella went 4-for-6 from the field for a career-high 11 points, while junior Jordan Beers chipped in 10 points.

Senior Ali Ricchiuti dished out five assists to go along with four points, two steals and two boards. Sophomore Meghan Pickell added six points, while Giannone had five assists, four points and three steals.

The Bombers shot 45.6-percent (31-for-68) from the field, while Fisher was held to just a 31.9-percent clip (15-for-47). Ithaca converted 29 Fisher turnovers (17 via steals) into 29 points and also netted 42 points in the paint.

Ithaca returns home on Saturday for a 2 p.m. conference tilt with Nazareth College, which is 6-6 on the season after a 62-56 loss to Utica this evening.
