MILWAUKEE, WI - The Benedictine University women's basketball team was tripped up at fellow conference unbeaten Wisconsin Lutheran College, breaking an eight-game win streak.

• The contest pitted the last two remaining unbeaten teams in Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference play
• Benedictine led for much of the opening 10 minutes
• Alena Moro scored the first points of the game and Benedictine went on to lead by five points at 17-12 in the first
• The contest was even for the first half with Benedictine taking a 32-31 lead into the break on a layup from Andrea Fuoss just before the buzzer
• Benedictine led 38-36 on a free throw from Georgia Alexakos midway through the third but scored just two points the rest of the quarter
• Wisconsin Lutheran used a 10-0 run to jump ahead by eight and led by nine 49-40 following a three-point play to close the quarter
• The run extended into the fourth, capping a 22-2 stretch that allowed the hosts to lead 58-40 with 6:28 remaining
• Benedictine was limited to just 22 points in the second half and trailed by double figures the entire fourth quarter
• The contest featured nine ties and 15 lead changes
• The game was the third in a stretch of five road games over six contests
• Wisconsin Lutheran has ended the season for Benedictine in the conference tournament each of the past two seasons
