The Millikin women's basketball team defeated Blackburn College 66-36 on November 30 in Carlinville, Illinois.
Millikin controlled the entire game opening with a 23-2 run and building a 30-12 advantage at the end of the first quarter.
Millikin shot 43 percent from the field while holding Blackburn to 28 percent. Millikin won the rebounding battle 39-26.
Alex Capeles led Millikin with 21 points. Alyssa Saklak had 15 points and six rebounds. Emma Hoyer had six points and a team high nine rebounds.
Blackburn's top scorer was Angela Andrews with nine points.
Millikin is 4-2 while Blackburn falls to 0-4.
The Big Blue will travel to DePauw University on Dec. 2 in Greencastle, Indiana for a 6 p.m. ET tip.
