HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The Juniata College women's basketball team fought back from a 16 point deficit in the second half, but could not pass St. Vincent College Saturday afternoon in the Kennedy Sports+Recreation Center as they fell 81-78 in day two of the 2013 Comfort Inn Holiday Tournament.  Four Eagles finished in double-figure points led by senior Kate McDonald (Pennsylvania Furnace, Pa./State College Area) who picked up her seventh double-double and fourth 20-point performance of the season en route to an all-tournament team selection.

McDonald dropped a game-high 21 points and added game-highs of 11 rebounds and six steals to her total.  Junior Kelsey Livoti (Altoona, Pa./Bishop Guilfoyle) had the best shooting night for the Eagles hitting 8-of-15 for 16 points.

Sophomore Paige Dennison (East Berlin, Pa./Bermudian Springs) put in 14 points and senior Jordan Hileman (Williamsburg, Pa./Williamsburg) earned 12, respectively.  Hileman tied for the game-high of five assists after spending a full 40 minutes on the floor.  She is averaging a team-high 36 minutes per game this season.

The Eagles (5-4) hit the road next and head to the big apple for the New York University Tournament.  They will face Cabrini College on Friday, Jan 3 at 3p.m. and then SUNY Oswego on Saturday, Jan. 4 at 1pm.  This will be the first time in program history Juniata has faced both opponents.
