HUNTINGDON, Pa. – After earning Landmark Conference Player of the Week honors, junior Kate McDonald (Pennsylvania Furnace, Pa./State College Area) was named Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) South Player of the Week, the organization announced Tuesday. This is the second time this season McDonald has garnered the honor.
She averaged a double-double of 23 points and 11 rebounds against two ranked opponents last week, No. 13 Catholic and No. 19 Moravian. Her career-high 34 points helped lead the Eagles to a 73-63 upset of Moravian.
McDonald is currently ranked nationally in nine different categories including points, rebounds, assists, blocks and steals per game.
