APPLETON, Wis. - St. Norbert College closed out the regular season with another decisive victory, this time an 87-52 triumph over Lawrence University in a Midwest Conference game at Alexander Gym. It was the sixth time this season the Green Knights have scored at least 87 points in a game.

The Green Knights won the 600th game in school history with the win, moving to 600-279 in 38 seasons. St. Norbert ended the regular season 19-4 overall and 17-1 in the MWC, matching its conference record for league wins in a season it originally set last year. Lawrence finished the season 1-22, 1-17.

St. Norbert wasted little time taking control, jumping out to a 16-2 lead just 4 1/2 minutes into the game. Krista Hawkinson posted nine of the Green Knights points during the run, while Sara Van Hemelryk added a conventional three-point play.

The Green Knights eventually held a 25-point lead in the first half with a 36-11 advantage at the 7:40 mark. St. Norbert led 45-24 at halftime, and held a lead as large as 39 points in the second half.

Jamie Kuhl led St. Norbert with 24 points and eight rebounds in 22 minutes of action. Krista Pelky netted 20 points, moving her into 10th on St. Norbert's career scoring list with 1,157 lifetime points. Hawkinson finished with 13 points for the Green Knights, who shot a lusty 57.4 percent (35-for-61) from the floor.

Amber Lisowe led Lawrence with 22 points. The Vikings shot 33.9 percent (19-for-56) from the floor.
