Down by two, 4-2 (15:22), the Roadrunners went on a 8-0 run with back to back three pointers by Jackie Jerkovich and Alexa Ryan before Lindsey Gripenburg hit a jumper with 13:37 to go in the half to take a 10-4 lead. The Fighting Blue Jays would score eight straight points of their own capped off by a jumper by Margaux Pickell (11:21) to tie the game at ten.

Ramapo would then stretch their lead to, 21-11 with an 11-1 run as Faith Flannery hit a jumper off an assist from Kerrie Kosakowski with 8:08 left in the half.  The two teams would trade baskets over the next eight minutes before the Roadrunners took their biggest lead of the half in the closing seconds as Jerkovich hit her second three pointer of the game off a pass by Gripenburg to head into the locker room up eighteen, 35-17. Ramapo shot 46% (13-28) from the field and 83% (5-6) from the foul line while they hit four three pointers, 4-9 (44%).
The Roadrunners would extend their lead to 29 in the second half, 59-30 on a made three by Kelly Haspel which was their biggest lead of the game.  The Ramapo defense would hold the Fighting Blue Jays to 8-33 from the field in the second half.

Haspel posted 14 points and four assists, as she was 5-6 from the field and 2-3 from behind the three point line while Ryan added 12 points. Micaela Moore recorded 11 points and six boards while Jerkovich added eight points and a team high eight rebounds. Flannery added six points, two blocks, one steal and four assists. Ramapo finished the game shooting 41% from the field and behind the three point line while they shot 80% from the charity stripe.

For NYU-Poly, Pickell led both teams as she went 11-27 from the floor as she tallied 22 points and 12 rebounds for a double double.

The Roadrunners return to action when they travel to NJAC North rival New Jersey City University on Wednesday for a 6:00pm match-up.
