Marymount Women’s Basketball Falls to Rival UMW

Arlington, Va. – Marymount University's women's basketball team fell 63-42 to 24th-ranked rival Mary Washington in Capital Athletic Conference action on Friday night.  The Saints drop to 3-6 overall and 1-3 in league play.

 

Katelyn Fischer led the Saints with 15 points while Julie Tomesheski added 13 on an impressive 6-for-9 showing from the floor.  Samantha Kane and Carolyn Hildreth both chipped in five while Dominique Dickens added four.

 

Tomesheski and Kane both pulled down eight rebounds for MU.  Fischer and Dickens recorded four steals each while Fischer added five assists.

 

Jenna McRae led the Eagles (7-0, 3-0 CAC) with a game-high 23 points.  Rachel Martin added 14 off the bench for UMW.
