Birmingham-Southern Drops Game at Huntingdon

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's basketball team dropped its road game at Huntingdon College on Thursday afternoon, falling to the Hawks 70-55.

Three Panthers scored in double digits in the loss with freshman Troy Stephens (Atlanta, Ga./St. Pius X Catholic HS) leading the way with 11 points. Senior Zachary Allison (Pelham, Ala./Wallace State CC) and junior Kaden Moore (Gadsden, Ala./Hokes Bluff HS) each finished with 10 points.

Moore also recorded 11 rebounds to earn his first double-double of the season.

The Panthers and Hawks battled closely for much of the game, but BSC could not manage to find a lead at any point in regulation.

With the loss, BSC drops to 6-4 on the season.

Birmingham-Southern's next game will be on New Year's Day when the Panthers open Southern Athletic Association play at Millsaps College. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m.
