Dent’s 20-Point Outing Comes Up Short in Green Mountain Loss

FARMINGTON, Maine – University of Maine at Farmington (2-17, 2-10) freshman guard Anfernee Dent (Jackson, Miss./Daegu) recorded a career-high 20 points as the Beavers fell to Green Mountain College (16-4, 11-2) with a 95-66 loss in North Atlantic Conference action on Friday night.

Dent (Jackson, Miss./Daegu) set his career-high on 8-of-15 shooting and made a pair of three-pointers. Dent grabbed a team-high six rebounds and three assists. Alan Young (Poland, Maine/Poland) tallied 10 points and a pair of rebounds. Nick Hilton (Wilton, Maine/Mt. Blue) added nine points and Ryan Camire (Acton, Maine/Sanford) followed with eight points.

Thomas Brown stole the show for Green Mountain with a game-high 29 points on 11-of-17 shooting. The guard sank 6-of-8 attempts from long range, registered eight rebounds, and dished four assists. Cameron Anderson contributed 14 points, five rebounds, and four assists while Mychal Parker added 12 points and eight rebounds.

UMaine-Farmington takes on Castleton University on Saturday afternoon in Dearborn Gymnasium.
