The Millikin men's basketball team won its third straight game defeating previously unbeaten Principia College 68-53 on November 24 in Elsah, Illinois. Millikin is now 3-2 while Principia goes to 3-1.
Millikin held a 38-20 at halftime and held off a second half charge from Principia to secure the 15 point win. Millikin shot 42 percent from the field while Principia shot 39 percent. Millikin out rebounded the Panthers 36-31.
TJ Sims continued his hot start to the season scoring 37 points. Elijah Kinmon scored nine points and grabbed five rebounds. TJ Griffin had eight points and a team high six rebounds while dishing out seven assists.
Adaku Anumu led Principia with 25 points. Parker Davidson scored 16 points and had 12 rebounds.
Millikin will play in the Rhodes Thanksgiving Tournament in Memphis, Tennessee on November 28-29. The Big Blue face Wittenberg University on Saturday at 12 p.m.
