The 2014-15 Capital One Academic All-District ® Men's Basketball Teams, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America, have been released to recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and in the classroom. Senior point guard Michael Wolf earned the nod representing William Peace and the USA South on the District 5 Team.

The Academic All-District ® teams are divided into eight geographic districts across the United States and Canada. Nominees must have been a starter or an important reserve for his/her team, while maintaining at least a 3.3 GPA or higher in the classroom. Wolf, a native of Chapel Hill, North Carolina will also advance to the Capital One Academic All-America® Team ballot, where first-, second- and third-team All-America honorees will be selected later this month.

Wolf currently holds a 4.0 GPA majoring in Political Science.  He is ranked first in the USA South and seventh in the country for assist to turnover ratio (3.5) coming into the week, helping the third year Pacers program all the way to second place in the conference.  Wolf is WPU's all-time leader in number of categories (assists, assist/TO ratio, games played and started, steals), and was named the team's Most Valuable Player last year.  He was also the first-ever male recipient of the Bierce Outstanding Athlete Award and Scholar-Athlete Award last year. Wolf was named to the USA South All-Sportsmanship team last season, and has also earned Academic All-Conference honors each of his first two years at Peace.
