Senior center Tommy Hannon scored a season-high 23 points and No. 1-ranked St. Thomas ran its winning streak to seven with Saturday afternoon's 93-68 road win at St. John's.

Will DeBerg sank five 3-pointers and finished with 18 points and Zach Riedeman scored 15 for St. Thomas (23-1 overall, 18-1 MIAC).

The Tommies shot 64 percent from the floor (35-of-55) and helped limit the Johnnies (10-13, 9-9) to 1-of-11 shooting from 3-point range. UST also had a 37-26 rebounding advantage.

Chris Neumann scored 17 points to lead St. John's.

UST avenged two 2011-12 defeats to the St. John's with a season sweep in 2012-13 and has won 12 of the last 14 in the series.

St. Thomas never trailed and used a 22-8 run midway through the first half to build a 15-point lead. DeBerg hit a trey at the buzzer to give UST a 44-31 halftime lead. DeBerg later sank three 3-pointers in a 1:49 span early second half to help keep the Toms with 15-point or better cushion.

The Tommies close their regular season Wednesday at home against St. Olaf.
