Senior guard Tim Young (Brockton, Mass.) was tabbed as the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) Player of the Week after averaging 21.3 points while shooting an impressive 61.1% from beyond the arc over the course of a  three-game week, which included two tough NEWMAC opponents, Babson College and nationally ranked MIT.

Young began the week netting 16 points in a decisive 72-60 victory over non-conference New England College where he also came one steal shy of tying his career single-game high, picking the pockets of the Pilgrims four times. Later in the week against the Babson College Lions, the senior guard was nearly perfect from three-point range knocking down three-of-four from long range while shooting 72.7% from the floor to net a team-high 23 points.

The Brockton native closed out the week with his best performance on the road against the nation's number ranked MIT Engineers. Draining a game-high 25 points, Young remained nearly unstoppable from beyond the arc knocking down seven-of-10 three-point attempts.
