Curry announced Joseph Busacca, who played at Misericordia and coached at Manhattanville, as its new head men's basketball coach.

The college's athletic director Vinnie Eruzione announced the hiring.

"Joseph will be bringing a great deal of energy and confidence to the program which we feel will only lead to success moving forward," said Eruzione in the release.

Busacca spent the last two seasons as an assistant under Pat Scanlon at Manhattanville. Curry's release describes Busacca as Manhattanville's offensive coordinator in charge of player substitutions. He also handled academic development, film, scouting and logistical duties for the Valiants.

Busacca played four seasons at Misericordia where he was the MAC Freedom Player of the Year and a first-team All-Region selection as a senior in 2014-15.

He replaces Matt Levangie who went 2-73 in three seasons at Curry. The Colonels went 1-24, 0-18 in the CCC last season and have not won a conference game since 2014-15.
