Eric Dougal announced his resignation as Kalamazoo head men's basketball coach today in order to pursue other opportunities. He will remain at Kalamazoo as an instructor in the department of physical education through the end of the academic term.
Dougal came to Kalamazoo in 2012 and completed his fourth season at the helm this past February. The Hornets were 3-22, 2-12 in the MIAA this past season and went 28-72 (.280) in his four-year tenure.
A search for a new head coach will begin immediately.
