Women: St. Norbert coach wins 600th game

Connie Tilley won her 600th career game as St. Norbert rolled over Beloit 73-48. 

Tilley is the 13th coach in NCAA Division III women's basketball history to reach 600 career wins, as Morgan Helm scored 18 points for the Green Knights on 7-for-11 shooting. No collegiate women's coach in Wisconsin has won more games than Tilley, whose win total currently exceeds the other 10 Midwest Conference coaches combined by 28.

Hood jumped ahead 18-3 and held on in overtime to defeat Lebanon Valley on the road 60-58. It's the Blazers' first win vs. Leb Val in eight tries. Hood, which got 23 points from Verkia Smith, improved to 5-11, while Lebanon Valley (which was ranked in the WBCA Top 25) fell to 13-3.

Amherst continued to struggle without Megan Robertson, as the No. 10 Lord Jeffs fell to the No. 16 Williams Ephs 65-63. Ellen Cook led Williams with 26 points and 12 rebounds. The Lord Jeffs played just seven players.

Nikki Przybyslawski scored 17 points off the bench as North Park knocked off No. 20 Wheaton (Ill.) 73-68 in overtime. The Thunder were just 1-for-12 from 3-point range and fell to 3-3 in the CCIW.

UW-Platteville went into Berg Gym at Stevens Point, Wis., and knocked off the No. 23 Pointers, 67-63. Stacy Clark hit a pair of free throws with 39 seconds left to give the Pioneers the lead for good and Alyssa Krajco hit all four of her free throws down the stretch to seal the win. Krajco led UW-Platteville (10-7, 4-4) with 17 points, while Clark added 16.

Michela North came off the bench to score 14 points in 19 minutes, while Emma Roberson added 12 points on 5-for-7 shooting to help lift No. 6 Tufts past Emmanuel 66-56. Courtney Eurle led four scorers in double figures with 14 points as No. 25 St. Mary's (Minn.) defeated Bethel (11-4, 9-3 MIAC) 71-54 to remain in first place in the MIAC.

Meredith Mesaris scored a season-high 31 points and freshman forward Alexix Roman had a career-high 18 points to lead Scranton to a 90-70 victory over Drew in the Long Center. The 12-game winning streak is the longest since the Lady Royals (14-2, 6-0 Landmark) won 19 in a row in the 2008-09 season

Kailey Kladivo, Alyssa Sager and Allison Emrich each posted double-doubles to lead Wartburg past Buena Vista 82-77 in overtime. Five Illinois Wesleyan players combined for 111 points as the Titans outscored North Central (Ill.), 115-106. The teams combined for 54 assists and 46 turnovers.

Jessica Venturelli had a game-saving block at the end of regulation as Albright went on to defeat host Lycoming 67-65 in overtime. Albright had the ball in the final seconds of regulation tied at 59-all, but turned it over trying to set up a shot. Lycoming cut it to one after forcing several turnovers in the final minute, but the Warriors traveled with a chance to take back the lead and Kristi McFadden made one free throw at the other end for the final scoreline.

William Paterson demolished TCNJ 74-50. The Lions have lost three of four (Montclair State, Delaware Valley and William Paterson).
