Game Notes

The Franklin & Marshall men's basketball team (10-11, 5-9 CC) plays host to two Centennial Conference foes this week inside the Mayser Center. The Diplomats play No. 9 Johns Hopkins (18-3, 12-2 CC) Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. before hosting Muhlenberg (13-8, 8-6 CC) Saturday at 3:00 p.m. for Senior Day.

Last Week

F&M fell in both of its CC games last week. 

The Diplomats lost to Gettysburg, 72-64, Wednesday evening.  Omar Nichols (17 points) and Josh Parra (16 points) finished with double-digit scoring figures. Parra also led the team in rebounding with eight boards. Read the full recap here.

F&M was defeated by No. 10 Swarthmore on the road Saturday afternoon. Green and Nichols led F&M in scoring with 14 points each. Green connected on four three-pointers, while Nichols hit three from beyond the arc in the game. Nowoswiat tallied ten points with three three-pointers coming off the bench. Last Time

Franklin & Marshall fell to No. 13 Johns Hopkins, 89-60, in January. Omar Nichols led F&M in scoring with 13 points with three three-pointers. Riiny Giir talllied 12 points and five rebounds in the contest. Mark Suchy racked up 10 points with a team-high eight rebounds in the game. F&M shot 41.1 percent from the field in the loss. The Diplomats defeated Muhlenberg, 77-73, in F&M's first game of the new year. Franklin & Marshall capped the first half with a 9-2 run to carry a 30-23 lead into the halftime intermission. The Diplomats closed out the game by shooting 59.3 percent from the field and 71.4 percent from beyond the arc to beat the Mules. Josh Parra tallied a double-double, finishing with 17 points and 10 rebounds. Vakaris Grauslys and Mark Suchy followed with 13 points each in the win. Read the full recap here

Johns Hopkins Team Preview

Ranked No. 9 in the nation, JHU enters Tuesday's showdown on an eight-game winning streak. Tom Quarry (14.7 ppg), James Carson (13.1 ppg), and John Windley (10.3 ppg) all average double-digit scoring figures for the Blue Jays. Guard Carson James ranks first in the conference in assists, averaging 3.7 per game. 

Muhlenberg Team Preview

Before the Mules take on F&M, Muhlenberg will host Haverford Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. Giovanni Rubino leads the Mules in scoring, averaging 17.3 points per game. Dan Gaines closely follows, averaging 16.2 points per contest. Forward Tommy McGuire is a force in the paint as he averages 6.5 rebounds and 1.8 blocks per game.
