The Moravian College men's basketball team (11-9, 6-3 Landmark) will play host to a pair of Landmark Conference games this weekend. Susquehanna University comes to town Friday, February 3rd and Juniata College will play the Hounds on Saturday, February 4th.

Last weekend for the first time since joining the Landmark Conference, Moravian won back-to-back road games in the same weekend. They defeated Goucher College, 68-65 and The Catholic University of America, 95-86.

Leading scorer: Junior guard D.J. Strayhorn ranks second in the Landmark Conference, averaging 20.3 points per game. Strayhorn enters this weekend needing only one points for 1,000 career collegiate points. He currently has 999, with 688 points at Moravian and 311 points at Marywood University his freshman year.

Clearing the Glass: Senior forward Marcus Hardy is averaging 6.6 rebounds per contest, which ranks him fifth in the conference.

Offensive Outburst: The Greyhounds are averaging 73.8 points per game, which ranks them second in the conference behind The Catholic University of America at 77.9.

Susquehanna: Susquehanna (12-7, 6-3 Landmark) is led by senior guard Spenser Spencer, who ranks fourth in the Landmark Conference with 18.4 points per game. He is also the Crusaders deep-threat, with a conference best 57 three-pointers. Sophomore guard Mike Perillo is the floor general, leading the conference with 5.11 assists per game. Moravian fell to Susquehanna in its first meeting, 66-65.

Juniata: Juniata (14-6, 6-3 Landmark) is led by sophomore guard Jeremy Hays, who ranks second in the conference in assists per game (4.50) and steals per game (1.90). The Eagles top scorer is junior guard Alex Raymond, averaging 12.1 points per game (13th in Landmark Conference). Moravian defeated Juniata earlier this season 84-80 in overtime.

Landmark Conference: The University of Scranton (14-6, 7-2) sits in first place. Juniata College (14-6, 6-3), Susquehanna University (12-7, 6-3) and Moravian College (11-9, 6-3) are tied for second place. On the bubble to make the Landmark Conference Tournament is The Catholic University of America (15-5, 5-4). Tied for sixth place is the United States Merchant Marine Academy (8-12, 3-6) and Drew University (5-15, 3-6). Goucher College (3-16, 0-9) sits in eighth place and are still looking for its first conference victory.

Next Weekend: Moravian travels to Drew University on Friday and USMMA on Saturday.
