The Team of the Week presented by Scoutware is D3hoops.com's weekly honor roll, in its 21st season of recognizing the top performance at each of the five positions from the previous week.

Women's

Lydia Lawson

Elizabethtown went 2-0 this past week, including a big 74-68 Landmark Conference win over preseason favorite Moravian on Saturday at Thompson Gymnasium. Lawson was a driving force in the win over the Greyhounds, scoring a team-high 23 points, one point shy of her career high. Lawson shot 9-for-15 from the floor including a pair of treys and added six steals and five assists against Moravian. A few days earlier, Lawson provided 11 points in a win over Eastern. Lawson totaled eight steals, eight assists, six rebounds and averaged 17.0 ppg during the week for the Blue Jays.

Sydney Kopp
Kopp scored 27 in a win over Allegheny including 18 in the first quarter on 7-7 FG shooting including 4-4 3-pointers. For the week she averaged 22 points, and 7 rebounds to go along with 65% shooting, including 55% from beyond the arc.

Madison Temple
Temple helped lead 10th-ranked Thomas More to a 3-0 record last week. Named the MVP of the 16th Annual Julie Costello Classic, last Monday evening, she averaged 19.7 points, 8.3 rebounds, 5.7 assists, 2.5 blocks and 2.0 steals during the Saints three-game stretch. Temple shot 61.1 percent (22-of-36) from the floor, including 46.7 percent (7-of-15) from three-point range, and went 8-of-10 from the free throw line.

Morgan Instone
Instone provided crucial buckets against Scranton down the stretch as Juniata beat the Royals for the first time in six years.  Instone was also nearly perfect from the field in the demolition of Frostburg.  On the week she averaged 19 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 blocks per game on 63% FG shooting.

Bryce Frank
Frank had a big weekend for Austin College as the 'Roos hit the road to St. Louis and defeated No. 13-ranked Washington University to win the McWilliams Classic. Frank averaged 21.0 points, 10.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists-per-game as the 'Roos went 2-0, including a 30-point, 15-rebound effort in the upset victory over the host team.

Men's

Aston Francis
The CCIW Player of the Week, Francis was one-point shy of his career-high in scoring 38 points in a 77-74 victory against Chicago last Wednesday. He made six three-pointers and distributed six assists in the victory against the Maroons.  Francis scored 31 points in a 78-68 victory against Millikin in the conference opener last Saturday night. He grabbed five rebounds, distributed eight assists and recorded two steals against the Big Blue. He also drained four three-pointers in the Millikin win.

Travion Kirkendoll
Kirkendoll moved into the top-10 in scoring in the nation with a stellar week in helping the Gents finish 3-0. Despite starting the week slow at Louisiana College, he was able to have five assists and five steals with no turnovers. He matched a career high with 37 in Friday night's win, adding, seven assists. Sunday saw Kirkendoll score 32 points - the third time this season he eclipsed the 30-point mark - and add five assists and five steals.

Sam Toney
Toney became the first known player in NJCU history to score 30+ points in consecutive games and in the same week. Toney averaged 33.0 points, 13.0 rebounds, 2.0 blocks, 1.0 assists and 0.5 steals while knocking down 23-of-47 shots from the field (.489). In an 87-83 overtime win over William Paterson, Toney produced 36 points and 17 rebounds. He shot 11-of-24 overall, including 7-of-13 from two-point range, and was 10-of-13 from the line with 17 points and two blocks in 41 minutes. When NJCU hung on to beat Rutgers-Camden, 86-83, on the road on December 2, Toney again netted 30. He scored 16 of his 30 points in the second half and finished shooting 12-of-23 and 4-of-10 from three-point distance, adding nine rebounds (eight defensive) and two blocks in 36 minutes.

Spencer Levi
Spencer Levi gave the home fans plenty of highlights alone the this week as the freshman shot 22-for-24 (91.7%) from the field and combined for 50 points with 25 per game in two wins for the University of Dallas men's basketball team. Levi registered two more double-doubles, which gives him four overall. On Saturday, he grabbed 14 rebounds for a personal-best and swatted a school record nine blocked shots - which alone tied the team blocked shot record in a game before Saturday's 11 total raised it. Along with his 11.2 rebounds average, Levi is shooting 81 percent from the field and ranks atop the SCAC in each of those columns.

Eric Grygo
Grygo shot 76 percent from the field and tallied first two career double-doubles in a 2-0 week for Benedictine, including a career high 25 points in a road win over Concordia Chicago on 10-13 shooting with 11 rebounds and four assists.  He added 18 points and 11 rebounds along with three assists on 9-12 shooting before fouling out in a win over Aurora to help Benedictine remain one of two unbeatens in NACC play.
