Kristen Venne, who has been named MAC Commonwealth League player of the week four of the last five weeks, averaged 22.0 points and 11.0 rebounds while shooting 55.3% from the field (26-for-47) and 82.4% from the foul line (14-for-17) in three games last week. "Kristen has gotten better and better each year, but this year she is doing things that go beyond the realm of a normal Division III player," said 12th-year Crusader head coach Mark Hribar. She has now scored in double figures 89 times in 91 career games and has eight consecutive double-doubles.
